Google has introduced rich text editor, for Gmail signature, with which you can set your own custom signatures, including images and glittering text.

Earlier greasemonkey scripts were been used for Firefox browser plug-ins and other ways. Now Google is all ready to make this thing possible.

Users get to see a custom rich text editor just like in Gmail’s compose mode. Just in case you don’t know where signatures are, hit the Settings link in Gmail and scroll down till you see Signature option.

Google, the online search giant, has made this possible by launching Google TV a couple of days back at its developer ‘I/O’ event in San Francisco.

Google TV is a new experience made for television that combines the TV you know and love with the freedom and power of the Internet.

Google is working with Sony and Logitech to put Google TV (Google search built into the TV to pull web video and broadcast) inside TVs, Blu-ray players and companion boxes. The browser on Google TV is simply the Linux version of Google Chrome. The user interface will have to be modified for TV, else how will a website designed for a smaller monitor turn into a larger one? And the same software that powers Google’s mobile devices – Android – is being used to power Google TV.

Senior executives working on the new Google TV platform have said that Sony has not got exclusive access to the new Google TV platform.

Device will be available to purchase from September, 2010 at Best Buy stores in USA initially.

Google probably launch it globally on 2011. Google, however, believes there is a huge market opportunity in this space with around 4 billion people across the world watching TV.

"With the web, finding and accessing interesting content is fast and often as easy as a search. But the web still lacks many of the great features and the high-quality viewing experience that TV offers. So that got us thinking…what if we helped people experience the best of TV and the best of the web in one seamless experience?" reasons Google on its official blog site.

The Google Mobile blog has big news for Blackberry users. Google release Google Maps 4.0 for Blackberry users, with the additional features of voice search and Buzz support i.e here you can now search by voice, add a searched location into Buzz and play with all sorts of Google Labs features.

Especially the search by voice features is a welcome feature to those of us who need a map while driving.

According to the blog, now all Blackberry users will have to do is press and hold the green Call button while in Google Maps and they will be able to search Maps by speaking what they want to find.

Continuing with their effort to provide more useful information to webmasters, Google today announced that they will be sending more notifications to webmasters through Webmasters Tools’ Message Center regarding potential security issues on the sites they own.

Google Webmaster Tools seems to be the most important tool for any webmasters and bloggers for FREE and it is among the top tool now on the internet together with Yahoo Site Explorer and Bing Webmaster Tool.

These notifications are meant to alert webmasters of potential issues and provide next steps on how to get their sites fixed and back into Google’s search results. If it pertains to a hacking or abuse issue, the notification will point to example URLs exhibiting this type of behavior.

Google uses automatic algorithms and user feedback to compile lists of sites that may be dangerous.

Buzz It! – The First Buzz Extension

Google Buzz — Make  buzz status update via Gmail with the link and title of the webpage you are viewing.

Install the addon and drag the Buzz it icon to your browser’s toolbar by right-clicking on an empty area on the toolbar and choosing “Customize”.

Set-Up & Functionality
After installation, go to VIEW>TOOLBARS>CUSTOMIZE and drag the “Buzz It!” button to your main toolbar.

Whenever you want to share any page you are viewing on Buzz, simply hit the button and it will automatically shorten the page URL and post a status update on Google Buzz via Gmail.

On clicking the button a Gmail Compose-Message page will open in a new tab with the title of article you are viewing and the shortened automatically populated into the subject area of the email. Click Send, and you’re done.

1. Search for it on Google and then just locate the cached result ( highlighted in yellow),click on it and you will find a cached copy of Website from Google cache even if the website is down

2. You can also try the Wayback Machine a service by archive.org and it has pages from previous years for many websites, so just look for your website here

These two methods are the most prominent and important in locating an article or content ven after the Website has been shut down or it is out of order .
