<p><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-size: small;">hello friends , this is a  method of adding passwords to your personal folders after compressing the folder if not then don&#8217;t worry , this is for you,</span></span></p>
<blockquote><p><span style="color: #ff0000;"><strong><span style="font-size: small;">note:</span></strong> no need of software</span></p></blockquote>
<p><span id="more-970"></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-size: medium;">step 1:</span></span> <span style="font-size: x-small;"> </span><span style="font-size: small;">compress any folder you want<br />
right click &gt; send to &gt; compressed(zipped) folder</span></p>
<p><a href="http://www.techstroke.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/im1.png" ><img style="display: inline; border-width: 0px;" title="im1" src="http://www.techstroke.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/im1_thumb.png" border="0" alt="im1" width="414" height="269" /></a></p>
<p><span style="font-size: medium;"> step 2:</span> <span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-size: small;">open the compressed folder , when you see your files, then right click on empty area and   click on add password ,type you desired passwords two times and click ok, that&#8217;s all.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"> </span></span></p>
<p><a href="http://www.techstroke.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/im2.png" ><img style="display: inline; border-width: 0px;" title="im2" src="http://www.techstroke.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/im2_thumb.png" border="0" alt="im2" width="525" height="367" /></a></p>

<p><span style="color: #ff0000; font-size: medium;">Note:</span><span style="font-size: small;"> </span><span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-size: small;">You can use this method for small files as well as for video clips too , you don&#8217;t have to extract the files , simply open<br />
the compressed folder and double click on any file , you will see that it is asking for passwords, their is no need to use any software at all,<br />

		</div>
<p>No more right clicking on every folder and checking properties to find the size of a Folder in Windows Xp, with this small tool which runs as a service you can view size of each folder right inside your explorer window if you have the details view enabled.</p>
<p>It saved me GB’s of hard disk space and hope it works for you the same way , although there are various other tools to do the same , but this one is the easiest and most seamless in it’s operation</p>
<p> <span id="more-751"></span>
<p><a href="http://www.techstroke.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/image27.png" ><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="image" border="0" alt="image" src="http://www.techstroke.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/image_thumb27.png" width="543" height="390" /></a> </p>
<p>You can get it running as&#160; follows</p>
<blockquote><h4 id="__1" >&#160;</h4>
<ol>
<li>First, make sure you&#8217;re running Windows 2000 or XP. Sorry, it doesn&#8217;t work in Vista. </li>
<li>Download the installer (<a href="http://downloads.sourceforge.net/foldersize/FolderSize-2.4.msi"  rel="nofollow">regular 32-bit</a>) (<a href="http://downloads.sourceforge.net/foldersize/FolderSize-x64-2.4.msi?use_mirror=osdn"  rel="nofollow">XP x64</a>). </li>
<li>Run the downloaded file to start the install wizard. It has boring template text, so just keep clicking Next. Typical and Complete installs do the same thing, Custom lets you change where it gets installed. </li>
<li>Now the Folder Size column is available to Explorer, but Explorer isn&#8217;t displaying it yet. Open an Explorer window in Details view. </li>
<li>Right click on the column headers to see a list of columns you can add. Choose Folder Size. </li>
<li>Now we can replace the existing Size column with the new Folder Size column. Right click on the column headers and uncheck the Size column. Drag the Folder Size column header to where Size used to be. </li>
<li>Make this the default view for all folders. Go to Folder Options from the Tools menu. In the View tab, click Apply to All Folders. </li>
</ol>
</blockquote>
<p>It does not work in Vista, so Vista users have to wait for an upgrade to this or try some other tools available.</p>
<p>Download it from <a href="http://foldersize.sourceforge.net/"  target="_blank" rel="nofollow">here</a> ( choose the 32bit or 64bit&#160; version depending on your processor ) </p>
