There are lots of similar codes exist. If you change the last number to 0 you can deactivate that code. The 3 digit number at the middle are from 0 to 999. I put the most interesting codes. (EFR):Enhanced Full Rate Codec.
You can change GSM frequencies to 900/1800 by entering the engineering model.

Following the below steps:

What’s the use of RBS:

Get Distance From Base Station – Place a call, when it
is answered, press [MENU] until ‘Eng Field Option’ is
displayed, press [OK], select ‘Active Cell’, press [OK],

a number. Multiply this number by 550, and the result is
the distance from the RBS (Radio Base Station), in
meters.

Get Signal Quality – press [MENU] until ‘Eng Field
Option’ is displayed, press [OK], select ‘Active Cell’,
press [OK], press [MENU] until ‘C1′ appears. This is the
signal quality. If it becomes negative for longer than 5
seconds, a new cell is selected.

One area that I believe is teetering on the brink of explosive growth are location-based, free mobile social sites that let you both share your location and see the location of your friends.

While it’s nearly impossible to predict the failure or success of particular players within a brand new niche like this (does anyone still use AOL for Internet access anymore?) it is at least possible to take a momentary snapshot of who those players are in the area of free mobile social sites. The Gypsii Social Network

The next mobile social network is Gypsii. ,Its believe that it is soon to enter into the leader’s circle for best location-based social networks. There are lots of mobile social networks out there – or mobile plugins for online social networks, but the coolness factor from a social network like Gypsii is that every member is automatically location-identified. This means you immediately know where potential friends are located around you.

The “News” page shows all of the public Gypsii status updates – much like how Twitter works. As you can see, there’s already a decent base of worldwide users that are active on Gypsii – but it still has a very long way to go.Clicking on the “People” tab and searching for members who are closest to me, I was pleasantly surprised to see about 10 or so folks in the network located within 30 miles from me, and even one who just lives 10 miles away. As you can see, there’s a “friends” tab where you can view just the friends on your contact list, if you so wish.

The coolest feature of the Gypsii mobile social network, in my humble opinion, is the “Places” tab. Here, you can review images uploaded to Gypsii. This isn’t unique among social networks, but what is unique is the fact that you can isolate the images based on members who are closest to your location – and review some very cool personal photos for places around you. This would be very useful during a vacation, to see certain places and attractions and determine if it’s worth your while.

Give Your Social Network a Glympse

I wanted to share one more mobile app called Glympse. This one isn’t so much a location based social network, as it is a location based notifier for your friends and contacts.

Using the service is very simple. Instead of constantly sharing out your location publicly, you can instead send out a public glimpse of your location when you want to share it. You can send the update to your friends via SMS or email or (and this is my favorite feature) you can send it to Twitter.

Sending your “glympse” to Twitter posts your comment plus a link to your Glympse page where people can see your location. The great part of this is that the location is only accurate for the amount of time you set. Glympse basically lets you turn Twitter itself into a location based social network.

Over a year ago , Facebook announced that they planned to support Facebook Chat over XMPP/Jabber, the same protocol that Google Talk uses.Yesterday, though, Facebook announced that in addition to the AIM partnership, the XMPP/Jabber implementation had finally come to fruition.

Facebook has also added the necessary Connect hooks so any developer can implement Facebook Chat on their site or web app.

David Reiss the chief Facebook engineer wrote

"By integrating Facebook Chat with your preferred instant messenger, you’ll never miss a message when you have to navigate away from Facebook and you’ll be in control of how and where you chat with your Facebook friends. Simply connect your Facebook account with the instant messaging client of your choice and start chatting. You will not need to stay logged in to Facebook.com to continue to access your Facebook friends."

The advantages of this are obvious. Chat has been one of the most popular features on the site, yet it didn’t seem to get that much attention from Facebook. The biggest drawback was that you needed to be on Facebook to use it, there was no dedicated client. Meebo added support for it last summer, but this too was web-only. In the latest redesign the Chat list shows up in the left sidebar. AIM also rolled out support for Facebook chat yesterday. Facebook announced in May 2008 that it would add support for Jabber/XMPP, but it took its sweet time releasing.

If you are using a multi-protocol IM client such as Pidign, Adium, or iChat, set-up is really easy—you just add a new Jabber or XMPP account, the username being your username@chat.facebook.com, with your password being the same as your Facebook password. If you still haven’t gotten a Facebook username (the tag that appears after www.facebook.com/ for your profile page) you’ll need to go to your Settings page to enable it.

In a corporate environment, the loss of a device is a major ordeal. Apple has touted the MobileMe remote wiping capabilities, but what if you don’t use MobileMe?

If you are in a corporate environment, you probably connect to an exchange server for mail most of the times. Using OWA (Outlook Web Access) you can remotely wipe your lost or stolen iPhone/iPod touch and breath easy knowing your data is safe.

This all relies on using the Exchange email push functionality in the iPhone OS

First thing all you have to do is access your company’s web mail using OWA (Outlook Web Access)

After you successfully login, click on the Options button in the top right.
Now click on the Mobile Devices option in the left-hand menu.
You should now see your iPhone or iPod touch device listed. Click the radio button next to your device and the click Wipe All Data from Device…
You will get a confirmation dialog to confirm you really want to do this. After you confirm, the Status will change to Pending Wipe.
The next time your iPhone/iPod touch has an internet connection and checks in with Exchange, a secure wipe is initiated. This is what the screen looks like to the user.
After the wipe has been started, the status for the device in OWA will change to Wipe Successful and you can remove the device from the list.

Please note that it will take about an hour to wipe the device so you can’t use it during that time

After the wipe, you can restore from a backup in iTunes. Since this is done in OWA, you don’t even have to bother about your Network Admin.

Recently , I had to delete all contacts on my father’s Samsung mobile and then it asked me for Phone Unlock code/password , now as this was a new phone I was a bit shocked at first as, how was I supposed to know it then as usual I googled it and here are the results.

The default Phone lock password required for carrying out mass delete operations or some administrative tasks on your phone is 00000000 ( eight consecutive zeroes).

but , incase you have already changed the phone lock code then you are sure in some jeopardy as then you need to give it to your nearest Samsung authorized service centre to get the password reset.
